Collection: Hand-painted art dyeing

Hand-painted art leather is made from leather that has been chrome-tanned by a tanner in Himeji. After artisans hand-paint the leather in multiple abstract colors, the leather is embossed with a canvas-like finish to give it a more refined look. Tanned leather has scratches, scuffs, wrinkles, and other marks that are proof that it was once alive. Although leather is generally considered damaged, artisans hand-paint and finish each piece to enhance the quality of art leather. As each piece is hand-dyed by an artisan, no two patterns are exactly the same, allowing you to enjoy your own unique pattern.
